Day 1 - Dar to Nyerere Park
Your driver-guide will pick you up in Dar es Salaam for an adventurous drive to Nyerere Park ( Selous Game Reserve). Enjoy a picnic lunch and spot rural villages and wildlife along the way. Arriving early afternoon, settle in before a boat safari on the Rufiji River, home to hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and 350 bird species.

Day 2-Full Day Game drive
After breakfast, embark on an exciting morning and afternoon game drive in Selous Game Reserve, Africa’s largest at 54,600 square kilometers. Named after explorer Frederick Courtney Selous, who died here during World War I, the reserve is renowned for its elephants. You’ll also encounter lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, zebras, and more elusive species like bushbuck and greater kudu. Originally a hunting area, Selous teems with wildlife, but animals here are often more cautious than in the northern parks. After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Dar es Salaam, enjoying a scenic drive through the Tanzanian landscape.
